FERRON READS

Find this new release and many more at the Ferron Library I've Got You Under My Skin by Mary Higgins Clark
I am a Mary Higgins Clark fan. I have liked her older books better than her newer ones, but I was pleasantly surprised with this book. The story starts with three-year-old Timmy Moran swinging on the swings at the playground when his dad, Dr. Greg Moran, is shot by a stranger. The shooter tells Timmy that he and his mother are next. Five years later Timmy continues to have nightmares and his mother and grandfather continue to watch over him. Laurie Moran, who now is a producer, is launching a TV reality series about unsolved cold cases. The first case is the twenty-year-old murder of Betsy Bonner Powell. Betsy was killed after coming home from hosting a graduation party for her daughter Claire and her three graduating friends. The murder has cast a cloud of suspicion over the people involved, mainly the four girls. Laurie assembles all of the players at the Powell mansion once again to relive those last hours. It seems that everyone has something to hide. There are now two murders to solve, and someone is watching. Congratulations to 86-year-old Mary Higgins Clark, may she continue to write mysteries for a long, long time.
