Book Review: My Sister's Keeper

The book My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult is a very thought provoking read. It is mainly about a family's struggle to keep their daughter/sister who is battling leukemia alive and the struggle their other daughter/sister goes through as "the donor child". It makes you wonder what you would do if you were in their situation. It has several differences from the movie. The ending caught me off guard.

This book has a lot of graphic detail and unnecessary swearing. If I were to rate this book, I would give it an "R" rating, just for the language.

Jodi Picoult does a fantastic job writing the book and does a great job distinguishing between characters. Aside from the language, it was a very good book.
